Back to Film

Added on by Scott Kaplan.

I recently purchased an old school point and shoot that has been something of an object of lust for sometime, the Contax T2. It is a remarkable little 35mm point and shoot camera, sporting an incredible 38mm 2.8 Carl Zeiss lens with 5 blades and 4 elements. It's nothing to shrug shoulders over. The focusing system takes a little getting use to but I am very pleased with how some of the first images that I got back have turned out. I've been shooting on Portra 400 and Velvia slide film. Here's a sneak peak of some of the things this little guy can do. I intend to use this for many more upcoming projects so keep an eye out- you still really can't beat the look of film and I for one have fallen back in love again with it.
